Jolt Energy, a Dublin and Munich-based Charge Point Operator (CPO), was established in 2018. by CEO Maurice Neligan. The company now works with the expertise that lies in developing, financing, and operating charging infrastructure at the energy production and distribution interface. Jolts charging infrastructure can charge vehicles up to 200 km in just 10 minutes, thanks to its up to 320 kW output capacity. The company will partner with businesses such as petrol stations to create a bigger network of fast chargers, while also supporting the global energy and mobility transition towards a sustainable all-electric transportation system.
In recent news, Jolt Energy received a €150 million investment from a large financing round with InfraRed Capital Partners (InfraRed), which is a leading international infrastructure investment company. This will support the company in growth and expansion to countries in European and North American cities.
